Glonghui, January 28|Chevron announced the appointment of former American Airlines Chairman and CEO Thomas W. Horton as an independent director of the board and a member of the board's Audit Committee. The 64-year-old Horton is currently a partner at the global infrastructure investment firm Global Infrastructure Partners and also serves on the boards of companies such as Walmart and GE Aerospace.
