Vitalik: The biggest risk for ETH is having the strongest decentralization technology but lacking socially meaningful applications.
Foresight News exclusive: When answering Foresight News' interview question, "What is the biggest but most overlooked risk currently facing ETH?", Vitalik said: "To be honest, I am not too worried about technical risks anymore. What truly concerns me is actually the application layer. The so-called 'failure scenario' is not the network going down or being hacked, but rather—everyone has indeed developed thousands of applications, but when you look back, you find that none of them truly have social significance. If we possess the most powerful decentralized technology, but only use it to create a bunch of toys or casinos, that would be the greatest risk."
