According to Odaily, White House National Economic Council Director Hassett on Friday downplayed the federal criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, stating that he expects "there won't be any issues." In an interview, Hassett said that the Fed's investigation is simply an information request, the relevant information will be provided soon, and the investigation will then proceed.
