Glonhui, January 13|Christophe Menard of Deutsche Bank wrote in a research report that Airbus achieving its 2025 aircraft delivery target has strengthened external confidence in the European aircraft manufacturer’s ability to increase production and deliver more aircraft in the coming years. Last year, Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers, in line with the company’s guidance of around 790 deliveries. This indicates that Airbus delivered 136 aircraft in December alone, and Menard noted that there was an unprecedented surge with 102 aircraft delivered in the second half of the month. He stated: “This strong performance demonstrates the need for a longer-term valuation assessment and shifts the focus towards 2028.” He raised the company’s stock price target from 222 euros to 250 euros. Airbus shares rose 0.3% to 216.80 euros.
