Things to know: Trump Media & Technology Group transferred about 2,000 bitcoin, worth $174 million, through various wallets. This transfer took place after its cryptocurrency holdings increased. These transfers included about $12 million moved into Coinbase Prime Custody, while the remaining funds were kept in wallets associated with the same entity, indicating a reserve restructuring. This activity does not appear to have affected the price of bitcoin; despite a general weakening in market sentiment, bitcoin's price remained between $86,000 and $87,000.

Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) transferred approximately 2,000 bitcoin BTC$87,368.87, worth about $174 million, after reports that its holdings had increased to 11,542 bitcoin.

According to blockchain data tracked by Arkham on CoinDesk, these transfers routed bitcoin through multiple addresses, with about $12 million ultimately reaching Coinbase Prime Custody.

The remaining funds were kept in other wallets that appear to be associated with the same entity, indicating this was a reserve restructuring rather than a one-way transfer to an exchange.

This activity itself does not imply a sale. Coinbase Prime Custody is a storage product designed for institutions, and custody transfers can reflect financial operations such as reorganizing cold storage or consolidating wallets. Assets in custody can remain there for long periods without being traded.

The timing is notable, as it came just a day after blockchain tracker Lookonchain reported that the company had purchased 451 bitcoin, suggesting that Trump Media, as the owner of the Truth Social social media platform, is actively managing its bitcoin positions rather than letting them sit idle.

Corporate holders typically move assets between wallets for operational reasons, especially after new purchases, internal policy changes, or custody transitions.

The price of bitcoin showed little immediate reaction to this transfer. Over the past 24 hours, the token traded between $86,000 and $87,000, maintaining this range even as overall crypto market sentiment weakened toward the end of the year.

Traders are closely watching fund flows and positions, with recent market action showing bitcoin struggling at the key psychological level above $90,000.

These on-chain transfers also occurred as Trump Media's stock price surged. According to Google Finance, the stock price has risen more than 30% over the past five trading days, trading at around $14.
This move coincides with renewed attention to the company's strategy beyond social media, including its push into financial products and digital assets.

According to media reports, TSMC's advanced and high-priced processes such as 2nm and 3nm have seen the largest price increases; mature and specialty processes are subject to individual negotiation based on products, capacity utilization, and customer conditions. Currently, TSMC's 8-inch fabs have a capacity utilization rate exceeding 100%, and processes below 45nm are at full capacity. The construction of AI data centers is not only driving demand for GPU and HBM, but also boosting orders for mature processes such as PMIC, MCU, and analog ICs.

U.S. Treasury plans to repurchase up to $6 billion in long-term bonds, 30-year yield hits highest since 2007

This is the second round of enhanced long-term bond buybacks by the Treasury, this time focusing on 20- to 30-year government bonds. After the announcement of the planned upper limit, the yield on 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds continued to rise, at one point exceeding 5.4%. In the first round of enhanced buybacks two weeks ago, the upper buyback target was also $6 billion, which was lower than some market participants had expected, and the actual buyback amounted to only $5.2 billion due to insufficient competitive bidding, according to the Treasury.

Multiple Factors Weigh In, Intensifying U.S. Treasury Sell-Off! 5-Year Yield Breaks 5% for the First Time Since 2007, 10-Year Yield Surpasses 5.1%

The stronger-than-expected U.S. September PMI, international crude oil prices returning above $100, and Fed governors signaling possible rate hikes have all negatively impacted the bond market. The disappointing 5-year Treasury auction has further worsened market sentiment. The psychological barrier of a 5% yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury is losing its significance as a "ceiling," with the market now starting to discuss a potential 6%. In addition to rate hike expectations, fiscal and supply pressures are also driving up long-term bond yields.
