Broadcom is leading a $60 billion debt financing initiative to provide funding for AI companies such as Anthropic to purchase chips and build data centers. Of this amount, $42 billion in senior secured bonds will be syndicated by Broadcom with Wall Street banks, while $18 billion in subordinated debt is being led by Blackstone, whose funds have committed $9 billion. The deal has been in preparation for several weeks but has not yet been officially announced.
