ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, Andrew Grantham, an economist at CIBC Capital Markets, stated that the latest US CPI data supports the bank's adjustment to its Federal Reserve policy forecast. Following the release of this week's earlier non-farm payroll data, CIBC has increased its rate cut expectations in its 2026 outlook, now anticipating a 25 basis point rate cut in both the first and second quarters.
