Ripple stablecoin RLUSD expands to L2 networks, adopting Wormhole's NTT standard
Foresight News reported, according to the official blog, Ripple announced that it will expand its stablecoin RLUSD to Layer2 networks for the first time. Ripple will collaborate with the cross-chain interoperability protocol Wormhole and the NTT token standard to launch testing on Optimism, Base, Ink, and Unichain. Ripple expects to launch RLUSD on more chains after obtaining final regulatory approval next year. The subsequent launch of RLUSD on other chains will require testing and approval from the New York Department of Financial Services.
