According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, a research report from CICC stated that the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 25 basis points at its December meeting as expected, but the number of officials opposing the rate cut increased to two, indicating that the threshold for further rate cuts is rising. Powell's remarks were not tough, and the Federal Reserve announced the launch of short-term Treasury bill purchase operations, easing market concerns. Looking ahead, the Federal Reserve is expected to continue cutting rates in 2026, with the next rate cut possibly in March.
