Data: Oppenheimer predicts S&P 500 index will rise 18% to 8,100 points by 2026
According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, Oppenheimer Asset Management Chief Investment Strategist John Stoltzfus predicts that the S&P 500 Index will rise by 18% to reach 8,100 points by 2026. The team pointed out that this optimistic outlook is based on the continued resilience of U.S. economic data and the better-than-expected performance of S&P 500 constituent companies. Currently, the average target for strategists by the end of 2026 is 7,315 points, while last Friday's closing was at 6,870 points.
