Bank of America: The market may soon start betting on a Fed rate cut in January
BlockBeats News, December 5, Bank of America pointed out that although the Federal Reserve has released cautious policy signals, the market may soon begin to bet more aggressively on a rate cut in January next year. The bank expects the Federal Reserve to cut rates by 25 basis points in December, while issuing more hawkish guidance and seeing multiple dissenting opinions. Its economic forecasts are expected to show stronger growth and lower inflation levels.
Bank of America believes that, considering a large amount of data will be released before January, Chairman Powell will find it difficult to effectively suppress market expectations for further easing. Analysts stated that as the market focuses on the upcoming data releases, Powell is unlikely to change the market's policy expectations of "data dependency." (Golden Ten Data)
