AI startup Harmonic raises $120 million in funding, led by Ribbit Capital
ChainCatcher reported that Harmonic, an AI startup co-founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has completed a $120 million funding round, reaching a valuation of $1.45 billion. The round was led by Ribbit Capital, with participation from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and new investor Emerson Collective.
Harmonic's core technology, "Mathematical Super Intelligence (MSI)," is based on formal logic rather than statistical prediction, aiming to address the issue of AI hallucinations. Its flagship model, Aristotle, performed excellently in the International Mathematical Olympiad, reaching a level comparable to leading research labs such as Google and OpenAI. Aristotle generates verifiable reasoning steps using the Lean4 programming language, ensuring that conclusions are based on rigorous logic. This technology is particularly suitable for high-risk industries such as aerospace and finance. Currently, Aristotle is available to developers and mathematicians through a free API, with commercialization plans to be launched at a later stage.
