Ant Group applies for registration of multiple Web3-related trademarks such as "ANTCOIN" in Hong Kong
On October 27, according to the Hong Kong Economic Times, Ant Group has applied to register multiple trademarks in Hong Kong related to virtual assets, stablecoins, and the blockchain sector, including "ANTCOIN." Industry insiders believe this move may be an early-stage layout for its fintech and Web3 business directions, aiming to expand into new business areas beyond the traditional payment system.
