Economist Peter Schiff: Bitcoin should be purchased, will launch tokenized gold platform and new bank
According to a report by Jinse Finance, economist Peter Schiff stated that if he had bought Bitcoin when he first heard about it, he would have achieved the greatest returns of his career, and admitted that “in hindsight, that’s what I should have done.” However, he also believes that most investors will ultimately lose money on Bitcoin. Peter Schiff announced the launch of a tokenized gold platform and a new neobank. The platform will allow gold to be used as a payment medium, enabling users to send and receive payments and use debit cards, with gold automatically sold at the time of transaction for settlement. Schiff said that gold-denominated accounts and payment tools will be provided.
