RTFKT Co-founder Benoit Pagotto Passes Away
Foresight News reported that Benoit Pagotto, co-founder of Nike's NFT project RTFKT, has passed away at the age of 41. Philippe Rodriguez, founding partner of Avolta Partners, posted that Benoit Pagotto's passing was "very sudden." The company had provided advisory services for the acquisition of RTFKT by Nike in December 2021. Subsequently, RTFKT co-founder Steven Vasilev confirmed the news on the X platform.
According to previous Foresight News reports, RTFKT has announced that it will end its Web3 service operations in January 2025.
