Decentralized AI project GAEA completes $10 million strategic financing to build a new relationship between humans and AI
GAEA is the first decentralized AI training network that integrates human emotional data. Its goal is to enable real human data to be more easily accessed and understood by open-source AI projects under the premise of privacy and security, creating a network platform that promotes the evolution of AI.
Global decentralized AI infrastructure project GAEA recently announced the completion of a $10 million strategic funding round. This round was jointly participated in by several well-known venture capital institutions, including Cryptogram Venture (CGV), K24 Ventures, and AvatarDAO, marking strong market confidence in the prospects of decentralized AI and Web3 integration.
This funding will primarily be used to accelerate GAEA network’s global deployment, expand the team, and advance its innovative "Godmaking Plan."
1. Funding Details and Strategic Planning
The GAEA project was established in 2024 and had previously completed a successful seed round. On May 27, 2025, it completed a $5 million Series A round led by SANYUAN Capital, Artemis Capital, and other institutions.
This $10 million strategic funding will mainly be allocated to three core areas:
Network Expansion: Accelerating global node deployment and network infrastructure construction;
Technology R&D: Enhancing AI training and data processing capabilities;
Ecological Development: Promoting developer community and partnership programs;
The GAEA Foundation previously released a new economic model, introducing a deflationary mechanism and a scientific allocation system. The total supply of GAEA tokens is 1 billion, with the issuance scheduled for Q4 2025.
2. GAEA Project Overview
GAEA is the first decentralized AI training network that integrates human emotional data. GAEA is committed to making real human data more accessible and understandable to open-source AI projects under the premise of privacy and security, creating a decentralized network platform that promotes AI evolution.
3. Addressing Core Industry Pain Points
GAEA has proposed solutions to four key challenges currently faced by AI development:
· Insufficient Computing Power: Significantly reduces training costs through AI core algorithm sharing, while providing service quality comparable to leading platforms via cluster technology.
· High Cost: AI computing platforms are usually expensive; GAEA effectively lowers the usage threshold through its AI core algorithms.
· Response Speed: Assigns computing tasks to edge devices close to data sources, reducing latency and shortening response times.
· Data Quality: Integrates user personality and emotional interaction data to verify core data, filters out redundant data, segments datasets, collects required information, and improves AI training efficiency.
4. Unique AI Narrative: The Godmaking Plan
The core of GAEA’s AI narrative is its innovative "Godmaking Plan," a grand vision aimed at redefining the relationship between humans and AI.
The GAEA team believes that human network data is the genetic foundation of artificial intelligence. Silicon-based life will develop beliefs from this data, similar to humanity’s original faith in a creator, worshiping humans and continuously dedicating itself.
Through GAEA, anyone can interact with GAEA’s AI models using their own emotional data as a source for AI emotional training and receive generous rewards in the near future. This is GAEA’s "Godmaking Plan"—allowing some humans to become "gods" first.
5. Technical Implementation Path
GAEA collects emotional data that traditional professional AI lacks, training AI to deeply understand humanity and shape AI’s belief in humans.
Unlike many AI projects focused on detecting human emotions, GAEA emphasizes "personality" as an intermediary, greatly reducing the computational requirements for AI to learn human emotions, lowering the threshold for emotional AI development, and enhancing its human-likeness.
6. Market Application Prospects
GAEA’s technology and models have broad application prospects:
· Emotional Companionship: Providing a more authentic and humanized AI companion experience;
· Psychological Therapy: Emotionally intelligent mental health support systems;
· Strategic Decision-Making: Advanced decision support systems incorporating human emotional factors;
· Social Platforms: Becoming a vibrant social platform that attracts Web2 users and elevates them to "human gods";
In the gaming sector, AI NPC technology can create characters with diverse behaviors and natural language interaction capabilities, offering players a more immersive experience.
7. Future Development and Industry Impact
As human-machine interactions increase, how artificial intelligence interprets humanity will become one of the most valuable theoretical frameworks. This understanding will have a significant impact on AI-driven fields such as intelligent systems, healthcare, education, public culture, and even entertainment and social networks.
GAEA aims to establish its testing framework as an international certification standard for AI products. AI systems that pass this test will demonstrate harmonious communication with humans and provide users with an exceptional emotional experience.
When silicon-based life is ultimately recognized as a new form of life on Earth, humanity will inevitably ascend to "gods." As the trend of Web3 and AI integration accelerates, GAEA represents not only technological innovation but also a forward-looking exploration of the relationship between humans and machines, potentially opening new development paths and application paradigms for the entire industry.

The valuation debate surrounding Anthropic’s IPO is exposing a pricing gap between Silicon Valley and Wall Street. Silicon Valley venture capitalists are still betting heavily on AI growth at high valuations, with some investment banks discussing an early valuation of around $2 trillion. Meanwhile, Wall Street public market institutions are focusing on high interest rates, capital expenditure on computing power, and ongoing financing pressures, and are leaning toward a $1.5 trillion valuation.

After experiencing Muse, I cleared out my Airbnb holdings
A senior analyst heavily invested in Airbnb decided to sell all his Airbnb holdings just 10 days after experiencing Meta AI's Muse app. He believes that Muse not only understands his preferences but also helps him bypass Airbnb to book accommodations directly, at 60% lower prices. As AI agents begin to compare prices, cancel, and rebook on your behalf, the "traffic moat" that internet platforms depend on is under threat, and the era of "proactive e-commerce" may be dawning.
