According to a security alert from Lookonchain, reported by Jinse Finance, Apple has fixed a critical zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-43300) in the ImageIO framework, which has been widely exploited. It is strongly recommended to update immediately to iOS 18.6.2 / iPadOS / macOS to avoid the risk of attacks via malicious images.
