Polymarket Updates Oracle Mechanism: Dispute Proposal Rights to Be Restricted to Whitelisted Addresses
According to ChainCatcher, @fishkiller stated that Polymarket has recently updated its documentation and revised its oracle mechanism, transitioning from a "Optimistic Oracle" developed in-house to a "Managed Optimistic Oracle MOOV2." In simple terms, the authority to propose disputes will now be limited to addresses on a whitelist. The advantage is a more centralized decision-making process, which shortens debate time; the downside is that it restricts community participation.
