Bao Fan, Founder of China Renaissance, Reappears but No Longer Involved in Company Management
On August 8, according to Caixin, Bao Fan, founder of China Renaissance Holdings (01911.HK), has recently reappeared after being under investigation by relevant authorities for nearly two and a half years. China Renaissance responded that Bao Fan is no longer involved in the group’s daily management and operations, and that his personal life is considered a private matter. The company stated that its current business and operations remain normal, with the executive committee fully responsible for advancing the group’s strategy. Bao Fan’s legal counsel declined to comment on whether he has fully regained his freedom.
