Bitcoin Asset Management Firm Parataxis to Go Public via SPAC at $400 Million Valuation
According to Jinse Finance, Bitcoin asset management firm Parataxis Holdings has announced a merger with SilverBox Corp IV through a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) to go public. The combined entity is valued at $400 million, and if the option to purchase additional shares is exercised, the valuation could double to $800 million. Upon completion of the transaction, the new company will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “PRTX.” A total of $31 million has already been raised, which is planned to be used for purchasing Bitcoin prior to the listing, providing shareholders with direct Bitcoin exposure. Parataxis employs an active management strategy, serving institutional clients such as pension funds and family offices.
