Widow of Country Singer Jones Claims Ex-Boyfriend Stole $17 Million in Cryptocurrency
According to ChainCatcher, citing a report from Decrypt, Nancy Jones, the widow of American country singer George Jones, has accused her ex-boyfriend Kirk West of stealing her XRP, Ethereum, and Shiba Inu tokens worth $17 million. Nancy Jones claims that West allegedly used his access to her assets to steal over $400,000 in cash and a Ledger wallet containing more than 5.5 million XRP tokens. Some of the stolen assets have been recovered, but approximately $1.5 million worth of cryptocurrency remains missing.
