According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing CCTV News, Al Jazeera reported on the 13th local time that a senior Iranian official, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that Israel will pay the price for the assassination of senior Iranian leaders. Earlier that day, Iranian media revealed that the Iranian president had sustained minor injuries in an Israeli attack. According to Al Jazeera, the unnamed Iranian official said the assassination attempt targeted the heads of Iran's executive, legislative, and judicial branches, with the aim of overthrowing the Iranian regime. He stated that Israel will pay the price for this assassination attempt.
