Iranian President Says the Mastermind Behind the Assassination Plot Against Him Is Not the United States but Israel
According to Jinse Finance, on July 7 local time, Iranian President Pezeshkian claimed in an interview with American media personality Tucker Carlson that Israel attempted to assassinate him during the 12-day conflict between the two countries last month, but failed. When asked whether he believed Israel had tried to assassinate him, Pezeshkian stated that Israel "did indeed try and took corresponding actions," but "failed." Pezeshkian emphasized that the mastermind behind the assassination attempt was not the United States, but Israel. On June 13, Israel launched attacks on targets inside Iran, and Iran subsequently retaliated. After the outbreak of the conflict, both sides carried out multiple rounds of attacks against each other. This round of conflict resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists. Israel has not yet responded to these claims.
