Analysis: Bitcoin Futures Trading Volume Drops 20% in June, Market May Face Downside Risk
Odaily Planet Daily News: The average monthly trading volume of Bitcoin futures in the first five months of 2025 was $1.93 trillion, but the total trading volume of Bitcoin futures on centralized exchanges in June was only about $1.55 trillion. This means that June's trading volume was about 20% lower than the average monthly volume so far this year.
A similar situation occurred last year, with the total trading volume of Bitcoin futures in June 2024 dropping by 15.7% month-on-month. Although trading volume rebounded in the following month, the average monthly trading volume of Bitcoin futures from June to September 2024 remained low, at just $1.53 trillion. If this month's data is any indication, the crypto market may be heading for another quiet summer. (The Block)
