Meta Platforms proposes to acquire a minority stake in venture capital firm NFDG
According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing The Wall Street Journal, Meta Platforms is proposing to acquire a minority stake in certain funds of the venture capital firm NFDG. NFDG was founded by Nat Friedman, Meta’s newly appointed head of AI, and Daniel Gross. This tender offer will allow the fund’s limited partners to partially exit at the current valuation and quickly realize liquidity. Both founders have gradually stepped back from active roles at NFDG.
