Zelensky: Direct Talks Between Russian and Ukrainian Leaders Are Essential for Achieving Peace
According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing CCTV News, Ukrainian President Zelensky stated at a press conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on July 3 that a direct meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia is indispensable for achieving peace between the two countries. Zelensky pointed out that U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin are two fundamentally different individuals, and it is currently unclear whether they share many common views or topics. However, from Ukraine's own standpoint, the Ukrainian side has always supported Trump's previous proposal for an unconditional ceasefire.
