On core PCE, the three-month annualized rate shows a large drop to 1.7% in May because the very high February reading falls out. This is the lowest since Dec. 2023. The 6-month annualized rate was 2.9%, up from 2.8% in April. (It is still below the 3.2% of a year earlier).
