Synthetix to Gradually Wind Down All L2 Deployments, Plans Early sUSD and sUSDe Vaults After Mainnet Launch
According to Jinse Finance, synthetic asset protocol Synthetix has officially announced that due to unstable Rollup infrastructure, Synthetix frequently experiences downtime. As part of the transition to the Synthetix mainnet, all L2 deployments will be gradually phased out. New deposits to the LP vault have already been disabled, and leveraged tokens, as well as perpetuals and LP vaults, are scheduled to be fully deprecated by July 7. Traders and liquidity providers (LPs) are advised to migrate their assets to the Ethereum mainnet. After the Synthetix mainnet goes live, early deposit vaults for sUSD and sUSDe, a points-based incentive program, and gated trading competitions will be launched.
