Suspected Whale Purchases 108,278 ETH via OTC, Equivalent to Approximately $283 Million
According to a report by Jinse Finance, monitored by Lookonchain, a suspected whale/institution purchased 108,278 ETH through over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, valued at approximately $283 million. In the past 12 hours, Galaxy Digital's OTC wallet withdrew 89,000 ETH (approximately $233.5 million) from exchanges and subsequently transferred 108,278 ETH (approximately $283 million) to the whale/institution wallet 0x0b26. Currently, wallet 0x0b26 holds 139,476 ETH (approximately $365 million). This indicates a significant inflow of institutional funds into Ethereum, with large transactions conducted via OTC to avoid directly impacting market prices. As a well-known crypto financial services company, Galaxy Digital's OTC trading activities typically represent strategic deployments at the institutional level. The whale wallet 0x0b26 currently holds a substantial amount of ETH.
