Ethereum Co-Founder: Company in Talks with Sovereign Wealth Fund and Bank of a "Major Country"
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Consensys CEO and Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin revealed that the company is in talks with a sovereign wealth fund and bank from a "major country" about the possibility of building infrastructure within the Ethereum ecosystem. Lubin predicts that Ethereum will experience a decentralized super cycle and could become the core of the new global financial system. Last week, Consensys, led by Lubin, invested in SharpLink Gaming, raising $425 million to establish an Ethereum treasury, causing the company's stock price to soar by over 400%. Meanwhile, another Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, stated that the capabilities of the Ethereum blockchain will increase tenfold within the next year. Lubin described Ethereum as the "gold standard of trust" and believes its value could eventually surpass Bitcoin.
