Lido V3 White Paper Draft Released, Final Version Expected by Mid-Summer
Lido protocol developer pshe.eth tweeted that the RFC draft of the Lido V3 white paper has been released. Lido contributors have been working on a new architectural direction for the protocol, centered around stVaults, which are isolated staking positions that decouple Ethereum staking methods (such as node operators, fees, risk preferences, Sidecar modules, etc.) from the liquidity layer. stVaults are expected to become highly composable foundational components, serving as the core cornerstone for creating strategies, protocols, and institutional staking products.
pshe.eth stated that the current draft covers a wide range of design aspects and is expected to be continuously optimized over the next few weeks, with the goal of finalizing the white paper by mid-summer this year.
