According to data from DeFiLlama, Coinshift's yield-bearing stablecoin clUSDL has surpassed a total value locked (TVL) of $100 million just four months after its launch in January this year, indicating a growing market demand for fiat-pegged assets that provide passive income through decentralized finance protocols. clUSDL is built on Ethereum, earning yields through on-chain lending and U.S. Treasury exposure, and is constructed on top of USDL, a stablecoin issued by Paxos International and regulated by Abu Dhabi.
