According to the information released by the Russian Foreign Ministry on April 27 local time, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated in an interview with American media that it was the United States that withdrew from the process of consolidating strategic stability. If the U.S. wishes to return to this path, Russia will consider under what circumstances it is possible. Lavrov expressed that if the U.S. adopts a stance of equality and mutual respect in dialogue, Russia and the U.S. can return to negotiations on the issue of arms control.
