Aptos celebrated the launch on social media, posting on X: “Six months to go. Aptos is bringing the vibes as the digital wallet of @expo2025_japan! 558K+ transactions. 133K+ new accounts. Aptos isn’t just scaling—we’re out to make history.”

Japan’s SBI Group is planning to issuing NFTs built on XRP Ledger during the event in Osaka.
According to marketing material released before the event, those attending the upcoming Expo will receive exclusive NFTs of “MYAKU-MYAKU,” which is the official character of the Expo.
This latest initiative marks an important moment not only for Aptos but for the broader Web3 ecosystem.
By removing technical barriers and creating a seamless, user-friendly onboarding process, Aptos allows millions to interact with blockchain-based assets—many for the first time.
