The World Trade Organization stated that the forecast for global goods trade growth in 2025 has been revised down from the original 3.0% to -0.2%. If the United States raises tariffs, the global economy could see a decline of 1.5% in 2025, accompanied by spillover effects. It is expected that goods trade will moderately recover in 2026, with a growth rate reaching 2.5%.
