Bitcoin Price Today 04/04/2025: BTC Drops While DOGE and TRX Rise

The cryptocurrency market started this Friday, April 4, with a significant drop of 3% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin registered a strong retracement falling to the $81 zone this morning. Amid the bloodbath in the market, DOGE and TRX are trading higher, rising 1.4% and 3%, respectively. With a smaller increase, XRP is up 0.6%.

After peaking at $84 earlier today, Bitcoin failed to hold the level and fell to its current zone. At the time of publication, the price of Bitcoin was quoted at $82.596,20 with a rise of 0.5% in the last 24 hours, equivalent to approximately R$464,641.29 BRL and €74,505.01 EUR.

The recent drop comes after the anúncio by US President Donald Trump of new trade tariffs on several countries. The move brought instability to the markets, causing strong declines in cryptocurrencies.

Amid the scenario, analysts at the Santiment platform noted that with crypto markets being rocked by tariff news and showing signs of recovery while US stock markets are closed, the most trending assets currently are: Solana (SOL), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple USD (RLUSD), Tether (USDT), Cardano (ADA), Binance USD (BNB).

Following Bitcoin’s current development, major cryptocurrencies are witnessing significant price drops in the last 24 hours. Ethereum is trading at $1.778,34 with a 1.1% drop in its price. XRP is trading at $2,04 with a 0.6% increase. Cardano is priced at $0,6339 after recording a 1.3% drop. Solana is down 0.7% and is trading at $114,86. With a 1.4% increase, DOGE is trading at $0,1621.
