U.S. stocks open lower, Nasdaq down nearly 1 per cent
U.S. stocks opened with the Dow down 0.7 per cent, the S&P 500 down 0.7 per cent and the Nasdaq down nearly 1 per cent. Star tech stocks were mostly lower, with Apple (AAPL.O) down 0.9 per cent, Nvidia (NVDA.O) down 1 per cent and Tesla (TSLA.O) down 0.2 per cent.
