GoPlus Founder: We will promote market makers to buy back all the tokens sold, the team has never sold GPS
PANews reported on March 7 that GoPlus founder Mike made a public statement about the abnormal price fluctuations of GPS tokens after they were listed on the exchange, and apologized to the community. Mike revealed that shortly after the announcement of GPS's listing on the exchange, its price soared from $0.1304 to $0.2015, but then quickly fell to $0.0642, causing significant losses for holders.
Mike stated that due to GoPlus's lack of market manipulation experience, the company had entrusted two well-known market makers (MM) to manage liquidity, but one of them triggered greater selling pressure leading to further decline in prices. He promised to push market makers to buy back all sold tokens and plans stabilize the market through strategic cooperation, product upgrades and transparent communication. He also emphasized that since its initial launch, no GPS tokens have ever been sold by GoPlus team members; all tokens held by team can be traced on-chain.
