The probability of the Federal Reserve leaving interest rates unchanged in March is 93.5 per cent
According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in March is 93.5%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 6.5%. The probability of keeping the current interest rate unchanged in May is 73.2%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 25.4%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 1.4%.
