According to official news, the US-listed company Semler Scientific announced today that it has invested 88.5 million USD to increase its holdings of 871 BTC. Since July 1, 2024, Semler Scientific's BTC yield rate is 152%, and it now holds a total of 3,192 BTC.
Previously, Semler Scientific planned to issue convertible preferred notes with a principal amount of $85 million due in 2030 through private placement to qualified institutional buyers. Semler Scientific intends to use part of the net proceeds from the issuance for paying costs associated with capped call transactions and the remaining net proceeds for general corporate purposes including purchasing Bitcoin.
