Investors poured nearly $1.2 billion into the crypto industry in January, up 63% from 2024
Just a few weeks into 2025, investors including Sequoia Capital, Paradigm, and Andreessen Horowitz's crypto arm have poured nearly $1.2 billion into 79 projects in the crypto and blockchain space. That's a 63% increase from January 2024, according to DefiLlama. PitchBook analysts predict that venture capital firms will pour about $18 billion into the space this year, up from an annual average of $9.9 billion in 2023 and 2024.
