According to information received, Thodex CEO Fatih Özer, who is facing up to 11,462 years in prison for defrauding thousands of people, appeared before the judge today.
While a decision was made to release Özer for the crime of establishing an organisation, it was decided that his detention would continue for the crime of fraud.
Faruk Fatih Özer, the founder of cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, who was caught in Albania on August 30, 2022 and brought to Turkey on April 20, 2023, was caught in Albania and extradited to Turkey and arrested.
