Forbes reporter Eleanor Terrett reported on X that French Hill, the chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee, has appointed Tom Emmer as the vice-chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence. He also nominated other Republican members in the committee.
