the three major US stock indexes collectively opened higher, with the Dow up 0.66%, the Nasdaq up 0.47%, and the S&P 500 up 0.5%. Most large technology stocks rose, with Nvidia and Amazon up more than 1%. Tesla fell more than 3%, with its fourth-quarter deliveries lower than expected.
