The market's expectation for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates next year has decreased by 25 basis points
On December 19, U.S. interest rate futures priced in a roughly 49 basis point cut by the Federal Reserve in 2025, close to the 50 basis points predicted by the Fed's dot plot. The market had priced in a rate cut of 75 basis points before the announcement of the rate decision.
