The transaction volume of the Solana network reached 66.9 million yesterday, setting a new historical high
According to CoinDesk, on Tuesday, Solana's network activity surged as the NFT project Pudgy Penguins launched its native token PENGU. Data from Artemis shows that Solana recorded 66.9 million transactions yesterday, the highest volume since its establishment in 2020. Moreover, Solana's transaction volume yesterday exceeded the total of all other major blockchains for the day. Solana also leads other blockchains in terms of daily decentralized exchange trading volume and daily active addresses but lags behind Base, Ethereum and Tron in stablecoin transfer volume.
