The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively higher, with the Nasdaq up 1.43 per cent, the S&P 500 up 1.23 per cent and the Dow up 1.02 per cent. NVIDIA rose more than 2%, the total market value of $3.43 trillion, surpassing Apple, re-emerged as the world's highest market value company.
