Federal Reserve observers predict Powell will reach a consensus on a slight rate cut

According to reports, Kioxia Holdings will invest more than 1 trillion yen to build a new manufacturing plant in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, for mass production of NAND flash memory. Kioxia is expected to announce the construction plan on August 27.

Regulatory filings show that U.S. energy company Sempra Energy has started the process to build a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in southeastern Texas. The company plans to construct an LNG plant with four production lines as an expansion of its existing LNG export facility.
