"Sister Wood" discusses US elections and Trump's economic policy: The market likes tax cuts
Cathie Wood, the founder of Ark Investment Management Company, pointed out that there is a correlation between the performance of the S&P 500 index and Trump's public opinion poll data, and emphasized several key economic policies that could affect the market. She paid particular attention to Trump's stance on tax, tariffs, and monetary policy. Wood explained: "The market likes tax cuts and has been worried about the expiration at the end of 25 years for tax cut measures in the original tax bill passed during Trump's term." She added that Trump has already expressed support for extending these tax cut measures and introducing additional personal and corporate tax cuts.
