Head of BlackRock ETF: 75% of Bitcoin buyers are new cryptocurrency enthusiasts from Wall Street
PANews reported on October 20th, according to CNBC, that in the past five trading days, the net inflow of funds into spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $2.1 billion, half of which was accounted for by BlackRock. The Chief Investment Officer of BlackRock's ETF and Index Investments stated that among the 80% direct investors who purchased IBIT, 75% had never held iShare before. In addition, a16z found in its recently released cryptocurrency status report that over 40 million Americans hold cryptocurrencies.
